The cheapest hotel is Pertout, which is right next to the University. It isn't really a hotel ... more like bed and breakfast without the breakfast :).
The cheapest accomodation is the Hostel, but it is only open Friday - Sunday.
Also cheap is Hotel Transalpina just over the border in Italy (50 meters over the border)
