On these pages you will find information on x-ray absorption spectroscopic research with synchrotron radiation performed by our research group.
The main topics are:
- multielectron photoexcitations in free and bound atoms,
- atomic absorption background in EXAFS spectra,
- EXAFS and XANES analyses of atomic and molecular structures of differnt materials (sol, gels, nanomaterials, thin films, catalysts, ceramics, quasicrystals, macromolecules, environmental samples, …)
- development of new XAS techniques (high temperature absorption cells for monatomic vapours and molecules, …)
- degradation of pesticides with x-rays
